Last week with some friends we decided to take a trip to the sea. I’m always excited about outdoor adventures and seafood. So we ended up at a fish market where we spotted “Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes”. I was fascinated by their packaging and the promise of freshness – I just couldn’t pass them by.
To be honest, the cutlets made me nostalgic. They looked like each piece of crab was some special gift from the sea. My soul remembered evenings by the sea with my family in my childhood, when we cooked something similar every night. So I decided to give these cutlets a try.
It took 25 minutes to bake, and in that time the aroma filled the whole kitchen. The first bite was something incredible. Every bite of crab covered with crispy crust brought me back to those evenings by the sea, when no worries could mar the moments of happiness.
And when I tried pan frying them to get an even crispier crust – it added a new flavor profile. I realized that “Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes” are not just food, they are a little piece of the past that brings with it waves of happiness. All in all, these cutlets turned out to be a real discovery and I highly recommend them to all seafood lovers!
