Benefit’s Benetint Is the Ultimate Solution to a Sun-Kissed Flush

I’m a huge enthusiast when it comes to lip products and blushes – they dominate my makeup collection. Dealing with perpetually dry lips led me to exclusively use lip gloss and balm for the past year, with my current favorite being the Colourpop Blotted Lip. As for blush, I lean towards a dewy, pigmented finish. Recently, I introduced the Benefit Benetint Liquid Lip Blush & Cheek Tint into my daily makeup routine, experimenting with its application over foundation and concealer, as well as on bare skin.

Application is straightforward: Use the included applicator to smoothly apply Benetint to your lips, layering as needed to achieve the desired intensity. It’s advisable to blot your lips with a piece of paper to prevent color transfer onto your teeth. For those with dry lips, adding a layer of lip gloss on top is recommended.

To use Benetint as a blush, dot a few spots onto your cheeks and swiftly blend with a brush or beauty blender. Alternatively, you can use your fingers, but be mindful of potential staining.

Upon my first swatch of Benetint on the back of my hand, I noticed its slightly runny consistency, but it dried down rapidly. Removal was a bit challenging; it required a liquid makeup remover as it demonstrated remarkable staying power.

Applying three dots of Benetint to my cheeks resulted in a pretty, sheer finish. Opting for a second coat enhanced the color’s vibrancy. Notably, when applied directly to my bare skin, the initial application was more prominent and lasted throughout the day, retaining its appearance even by 9:30 p.m. Additionally, its lightweight formula was a definite plus.

As for my lips, I adored the captivating cherry hue, although the product felt slightly drying. A clear gloss layered on top helped alleviate this issue. The color remained intact for several hours before gradually fading. Overall, I was impressed by the buildable nature of this product, providing reassurance that I can streamline my makeup routine by solely carrying this versatile product with me.
