One of the favorite activities of people these days is unboxing packages. Especially since social media has become like blood in our veins, and influencers feed us with their content every day. The latest brand of shampoo, a powerful acne patch, a serum that can make your face glow and many more.
And I am enjoying being part of that community. The package I’m unboxing today is shoes! Yes, another nice pair of shoes. From a well-known brand that is unquestionable in its quality, usefulness, style and popularity, it’s Converse.
Usually I like high Converse shoes, but this time I bought low ones. Chuck Taylor All Star Lift, I’ve been convinced to buy it since the first sight. Mostly because the color is very pretty and a feast for the eyes especially for the girls, we are weak about cute things. This Chuck Taylor All Star Lift is light purple or Lilac, a very soft purple that tends to be pastel.
Some of you must know that currently the early 2000s fashion is trending again and is called Y2K. Well these shoes are totally Y2K by design. There are silicone heart graphics, and a silver metallic ink print on the shoes as well as a rhinestone top eyelet and rhinestone heart lace keeper complete the look. On the insole there is a red love graphic as well as on the outsole.
These are the perfect shoes for a fresh Y2K look, like a teenage girl in love. Bringing back that nostalgic time through a pair of shoes.
